Making games is a core part of who he is and what he does. He spent years working in various branches of IT, all with the goal of gaining the skills and knowledge needed to pursue his passion for game development. Outside of Byterunners, his main interest is music. He plays drums in a band and has performed in many others, and for nearly a decade, he worked as a stage technician. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and occasionally taking part in outdoor activities like airsoft. He’s also a big dog lover, proudly accompanied by three loyal canine companions.

His journey into game development began rather randomly and spontaneously. A lifelong avid gamer, he’s always been interested in both meta-gaming and the cultural dimensions of video games. With a background in project management and IT development in the banking sector, his transition into game development was unexpected. Marcin is passionate about playing and creating music, building PCs, and drinking coffee.

A 2D artist powered by tea, curiosity, and a deep love for things that are either ancient, tiny, or imaginary. By day, Gabe brings characters and worlds to life on paper (or tablet), and by night, he’s likely stargazing, battling goblins in a DnD campaign, or whispering words of encouragement to a patch of moss. His fossil collection is getting slightly out of hand, but he insists it’s “for science.”

Game development has allowed him to combine his analytical side with a passion for 3D art. Dawid’s background is in music production and sound engineering. In addition to art, he has an interest in economics and political philosophy. He plays amateur football as a midfielder and supports his local club, RKS Raków.

After 10 years of laying out cables on construction sites, Pszczoła left it all behind to pursue his passion for creating 3D models. When he’s not in front of a computer, he enjoys mountain biking. Due to his busy lifestyle, he’s traded traditional books for audiobooks—especially fantasy and sci-fi—which he listens to with great enthusiasm. Whenever he has a bit more free time, he also enjoys playing board games.

Sound guy. Recording studio owner and audio engineer with over 10 years of experience. As the team handles everything imaginable with sound, Rafał discovered them in their basement studio, where they collaborated on sound for DDS. Expect the sounds in games to be recorded at Nonagram Studio. Damian loves working on game audio, considering it the most immersive and creatively fun form of sound design. He also plays bass, enjoys gaming, and occasionally picks up the guitar. Lemmy is God.

Sound engineer, co-owner of Nonagram recording studio in Krakow. Has been involved in sound for 15 years: post-production, sound design, mixing and mastering, working with companies in the entertainment industry.

Graduate of Acoustic Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow and the Sound in Film course at the Pro Sound Institute (Alwernia / Los Angeles). He creates sound for films, games and multimedia events. He composed the musical setting for the Digital Dragons conference. Winner of Audio Engineering Society competitions.

Outside of work, he produces music and plays guitar, and in his spare time he enjoys alpine skiing, mountain biking and playing tennis.
